Places To Advertise

Classified ads allow you to say something about your product or service exactly the same as a print classified.

Free Classifieds

Free sites generally get small traffic, for a better return you need to take advantage of paid classifieds. How to find them – that’s easy. Go to a search engine and enter "Free Classifieds".

Review the list, look for the right places. Then list your classified.

Set an objective of how many you want to list per day.

An even easier way is to click on one of the buttons below and you will be taken straight to a Free For All page to list your advertisement. Free classifieds normally expire after a few days. Hence you have to return and renew your ad.

Reverse Marketing

You can waste your valuable time posting to FFA pages. The reason are:

Your ad is mixed in with so many others. Your ad just gets lost in the pile.

Very few people visit the actual sites.

Because so many people post your ad may only be visible for a few hours.

Perhaps back in the old days of internet marketing, before automatic submission software and thousands of FFA pages, postings did work.

The smart thing today is to Host not Post, that is use reverse marketing.

If you host a page other people place their ads on your site. When they do post on your site, they receive an automatic message from your autoresponder.

This is a confirmation message to the person who posts confirming that the ad has been accepted. This message also contains Your Sales Message.

Hence your sales message goes out to lots of prospects for your product or service. And you do not have to lift a finger to do anything.  Many FFA pages are FREE to set up.

Ezine advertising (Paid for Classifieds)

Advertising on an existing ezine that is related to your product / service or your target market. There are thousands of ezines being published regularly. There is more than likely an ezine that will take your advertisement straight to the target market you want to reach.

Tips for successful ezine advertising

Track your ads. You need to do this to find out which ads and which ezines work best for you.

Target your audience. Use ezines that reach your audience. It sounds obvious but many make this mistake.

Monitor the ezine. Subscribe to the ezine that your target audience will read. Then examine the ads placed in there, look for repeat ads. If ads are being repeated then there’s a good chance that the ezine is working.

Research the ezine. Look to see how many ads are placed or allowed to be placed. Too many is no good. See if similar products or services are advertised in the same issues.

Make sure your advertisement includes the following

   1. E-mail address , so that prospects can contact you and you, more importantly can build rapport with them.

   2. Offer something for free in your ad copy. A free offer greatly improves the chances of a response.

   3. Keep the ad short. Short ads have a better chance of being read. Keep sentences short too.

   4. Tell the prospect what your product / service can do for them. (WIIFM)
